South Korean crypto exchange, Upbit, is ready to launch market support for Nervos Network (CKB) with trading pairs in KRW, BTC, and USDT. Users will be able to deposit within three hours of the announcement. However, trading is to commence from 5 PM KST on September 13th.
Upbit has asked users to ensure deposits are made through the Nervos Network alone as other networks are not supported at the moment. Upbit has also introduced restrictions on initial trades, including limitations on the market price and limited orders for the first hour after launch to ensure smooth functions.
At press time, Nervos is trading at $0.01005. Nervos Network is designed to solve the challenges that come with security, scalability issues, and decentralization. Its Layer 1 product called Common knowledge base (CKB) provides a storage model where users can create and store their assets without having to compromise on security. Nervos Network is community-focused and allows interoperability with other blockchain ecosystems.
