Shiba Inu is ready to make waves again, as the much-anticipated Shibarium is almost here. Shytoshi Kusama, the lead Shiba Inu developer, talked about the release recently.
According to Shytoshi, Shiba Inu concluded the finalizing meeting with Unification XFUND. Now, the platform is aligning, onboarding, and finalizing Shibarium Protocol for users. The Layer 2 Solution will start with a beta launch, which is expected to be unveiled in the coming months.
The tweet followed a telegram message by Shytoshi that mentioned how Shibarium would be launched in phases. The Shiba Inu team is in no hurry to release the protocol’s final version. Once the beta is launched, it can take a year for the testing phase to wrap up.
During this stage, the platform will release several UX updates to elevate the network’s functionality. Once the improvements are done, the team will launch the final Shibarium version with Unification XFUND’s assistance.
Similarly, SHIB Trophies, another Shiba Inu developer, said that the team only needs to release documentation before the beta launch. It started with the website, then came the documents, and now it is time for beta, adding the developer.
The platform was previously scheduled for September, but the team ran into some technical issues. There is still no confirmation about the exact date of the launch. Shytoshi recently talked about the platform on December 21, after which SHIB jumped 2.57% over 24 hours.
The development helped the coin reach 123.10 million dollars in 24-hour trading volume, trading around 0.000008172 dollars. Seeing how to lead developers are releasing new information about Shibarium, this tendency is expected to continue in the coming months.
