A public blockchain network, PlatON focuses on computations that preserve privacy, and the firm also aims to become a distributed economy infrastructure. Being a next-generation PoS blockchain, PlatON makes use of a BFT consensus algorithm that aids decentralized applications.
Moreover, it is a network that supports WASM and EVM computing environments, allowing developers to easily port less scalable network-based smart contracts onto PlatON’s ecosystem with relative ease.
PlatON is committed to creating a high performance, scalable, and secure computing network that utilizes high-tech cryptography algorithms and computation architecture. Recently, PlatON announced a partnership with Chainlink for the integration of its oracle network within PlatON’s platform.
Thrilled to announce that @PlatON_Network 's meta #network #Alaya is officially live, and is collaborating with @chainlink to integrate its market-leading decentralized #oraclenetwork into our @PlatON_Network, starting with our mainnet sandbox Alaya. https://t.co/Zf38Db7Tw0

PlatON Partners with Chainlink
As per the collaboration, PlatON’s latest PoS blockchain platform will be using Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network. To start with, the integration will be carried out in PlatON’s mainnet sandbox Alaya.
This integration aims to make sure their developers access reliable and secure oracles provided by Chainlink for developing sophisticated smart contract applications. These applications interact with legacy systems, cloud infrastructure, data providers, IoT networks, and other real-world systems.
Why Chainlink?
Chainlink was chosen since it offers a secure oracle infrastructure, data of the best quality, and has been tried & tested to secure value over the mainnet. Besides, research by leading academics has laid the foundation for Chainlink, which perfectly aligns with PlatON’s focus on utilizing academic research to be the primary driving force of their development.
Initial integration consists of price feed oracles of Chainlink, which will facilitate the development of financial services on Alaya and PlatON. However, it can certainly expand to include different external systems and data connections.
Moreover, the integration will be the right step that will mark Alaya’s central module’s decentralization. PlatON believes that this partnership will help Alaya as well as PlatON further expand the value their network can provide to its users.
