“He has just a phenomenal position, and he’s been working on this for a long time,” Huang said. “He’s going to be in a great position to take advantage of it.”
Huang also praised Musk’s efforts in advancing AI, particularly in three critical areas: cognitive intelligence through his xAI startup, autonomous driving at Tesla, and the Optimus humanoid robot.
“These three areas of AI are the most important,” Huang emphasized. “He’s working on exactly the right things.”
Huang further discussed the transition from traditional general-purpose computing to artificial intelligence and accelerated computing, describing it as a transformative change over the coming years.
The global AI market is projected to grow by 38% in 2025, according to Exploding Topics. Trends such as unstructured data, AI agents, and generative AI experiments are expected to be the highlights for the future of the industry.
Amid these developments, Musk recently asserted that the cumulative sum of human knowledge used for AI training was exhausted last year. He suggested that the solution to the shortage of training material lies in synthetic data generated by AI.
