Fractal recently announced a partnership with Avalanche to bring DIDs (decentralized identities) to its ecosystem. The collaboration will enable users to go through different dApps easily.
As one of the quickest smart contract platforms, Avalanche has proved its capabilities multiple times. The network is renowned for its interoperability, facilitating the development of different subnets. During its creation, Avalanche stood as the common platform.
In addition, the network proposes high scalability with over 4,500 TPS (transaction per second) at low gas fees. Such scalability and interoperability features unlock substantial opportunities for end users and developers.
That is why Avalanche has chosen Fractal’s DID system, simplifying dApp jumping significantly. Throughout the previous integrations, Fractal integrated itself with individual platforms.
However, this time, it will implement decentralized identities across the entire ecosystem. This will unlock several features for dApps on the Avalanche network. DID registry is a privacy-securing identity verifying commons that facilitates on-chain identity verification.
Once users connect their wallets, dApps can toggle the register to find out users’ identity credentials. The process is as simple and swift as that. With such a seamless onboarding process for complete identification, facilitating user security while offering a secure Web3 environment becomes simple.
With the assistance of Fractal DID, users can access multiple dApps on the Avalanche ecosystem. In addition, the DID registry will be open for Fractal credentials. It means that whether users already possess a Fractal ID or start KYC, they can still connect to the registry to reach Avalanche.
After verifying the identity on a dApp, users can instantly access other dApps without having to complete another KYC procedure. This is possible since Fractal offers interoperable VCs (verifiable credentials) throughout the Avalanche network.
This integration will enable Avalanche to access a huge Web3 community with 150K+ verified Fractal users. It will also facilitate a regulatory-compliant ecosystem that secures users’ privacy. Finally, it will bring data ownership to users by offering them disclosable, reusable, verifiable credentials.
The community has welcomed the partnership with open arms, which is expected to be a huge success.
