Cronos Labs has now become the official blockchain network partner of the SWF2023 (Seoul Web 3.0 Festival 2023).
The ecosystem development and R&D arm of Cronos blockchain achieved the feat with a recent partnership. The blockchain company has joined hands with the City of Seoul to launch the inaugural Soul Web 3.0 Festival 2023.
Seoul Metropolitan Government has undertaken the steps to organize the event. The inaugural festival aims to improve Korea’s competitiveness in the Web3 market. At the same time, SFW2023 will aim to create more opportunities for talent across the blockchain circuit.
As a startup accelerator and blockchain ecosystem, Cronos Lans focuses on blockchain games and DeFi. It also assists developers in designing user-centric apps on the Cronos chain, driving mainstream Web3 adoption. Cronos’ involvement in Seoul Web 3.0 Festival 2023 will establish its reach in Korea and across the globe.
Set to take place between July 31 to August 2; the Web3 festival will run at the DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) in Seoul. It will comprise multiple programs, such as an investor demo for startups, an NFT exhibition, and a hackathon.
The event is staying true to its tagline, “Change, Opportunity, Challenge,” uncovering new ideas at the intersection of blockchain and AI. SWF2023 will allow investors and the general public to explore the latest Web3 trends.
Moreover, the event will showcase the first-ever hackathon event in Korea. It will involve over 500 validators alongside infrastructure and app partners associated with Cronos since November 2021. Over 400 participants have shown an interest in attending the hackathon, including PMs, designers, developers, and others.
Cronos Labs’ Managing Director, Ken Timsit, has also praised the event and Cronos Labs’ involvement. Given the buzz surrounding the festival, it is expected to be a major hit in Korea and adjacent regions.
