Sender Wallet Gathers $4.5 Million in a Private Funding Round

Sender Wallet recently raised over 4.5 million dollars during its private funding round. Pantera led the entire event with the participation of several powerhouses.

These names were GFS Ventures, Crypto.com Capital, Amber Group, Jump Capital, WOO Network, Smrti Labs, SevenX Ventures, D1 Ventures, Shima Capital, Puzzle Ventures, and Eniac Ventures.

Moreover, the funding round involves multiple NEAR ecosystem projects, like Paras, Ref Finance, and Octopus Network. Sender Wallet also conducted a similar round in April 2022, led by Metaweb Ventures and Binance Labs.

Both funding rounds were quite successful, helping the platform reach its goals. The funds gathered during the latest round will be used to expand Sender’s research and development team. In addition, the platform will elevate its wallet’s security threshold while extending its ecosystem.

The year has been full of growth for Sender, helping it integrate with over 30 mainstream projects in NEAR. Its mobile versions and plug-ins accumulated over 500,000 globally. With features like NFT showcasing, swapping, and staking, it is currently the leading wallet in the NEAR network.

Its wallet can now be used to connect Keystone and Ledger, two hardware wallets. Additionally, it can be integrated with three fiat-to-crypto service providers – Transak, Banxa, and Moonpay. Thus, users can purchase crypto using the platform in over 140 nations.

Its current plan includes an aggregation of liquidity transactions on Sender Swap. It will be done by integrating multiple DEXs’ liquidity on NEAR for a lower slippage and better trading experience. The platform also plans on building an in-built transaction aggregator, Sender Market.

Kenny, the CEO and Founder of Sender Wallet, praised the latest funding round. Kenny stated that as a believer in NEAR, the Sender Wallet team is delighted to join the community. With Sender ready to deploy several exciting features, integrating NEAR will be highly productive in bringing more users into Web3.

Kenny concluded that the Sender Wallet team expects around 10 million users before the new market hotspot’s arrival.

Given the features, Sender Wallet proposes and its partnerships, the number does not look far-fetched. Its recent success speaks for itself, while its roadmap is also filled with promising projects.
