Plasma.Finance Introduces Optimism L2, Adds It to Supported DeFi Networks

Plasma.Finance has published a blog post to share the news that it has added Optimism L2 to its growing family of supported DeFi Networks. The recent addition allows users to interact with the mechanism through HyperDEX, the infinity decentralized exchange aggregator of Plasma.Finance.

A full range of trading and swapping actions have been made available while allowing users to transfer assets from six chains to Optimism. The six chains from which assets can be transferred are Polygon, Ethereum, Avalanche, Binance, Celo, and Fantom.

Portfolio Management makes it a seamless experience for users to manage their portfolio of crypto and DeFi holdings. Any token can be used to settle the gas fee or swap tokens.

Optimism absorbs a lot of good pointers from Ethereum. For instance, Optimism utilizes strong security guarantees of Ethereum as it simultaneously reduces latency and cost. The benefit of lower latency and cost is ultimately passed on to the users when they interact with EVM networks.

Cross-chain interoperability has been regarded as a crucial improvement because it allows direct interaction between different blockchains.

Decentralized Finance combines the best of decentralized technology and finance. Users register to access many financial products, and all they need is an internet connection with good speed and stability.

However, DeFi services remain separate across the ecosystem, making it a tiring process to transfer assets from one chain to another. At a time when interoperability is the need of the hour and counted as one of the best offerings across all the sectors, the move by Plasma.Finance can only be called revolutionary, expecting others to follow the trend soon.

One can access the single-step transaction from the dashboard of Plasma.Finance. It allows users to access all the functions most conveniently.

The addition of Optimism to Plasma.Finance gives users another Layer 2 solution that has all the necessary elements of Ethereum but with faster speed and lower cost. DeFi is undoubtedly the best thing to have happened in the decentralized blockchain space. What makes it complicated is the difficulty in navigation. Plasma.Finance takes care of it by providing the most simple route for users to walk on and gain complete control and access to DeFi’s offerings.

HyperDEX is the best thing to have happened to the community members. It automatically discovers the best rate and liquidity opportunity without requiring intervention from a human. Once discovered, all the trades are seamlessly executed across all the major blockchain networks, including:-

  • Polygon
  • Ethereum
  • Fantom
  • BSC
  • Celo
  • Avalanche
  • Optimism

The final goal of Plasma.Finance is to drive the adoption of decentralized finance by leveraging true interoperability and ease of use. More developments are on the way, and members can keep track of those developments to discover more ways of making the best of DeFi transactions.
