Notcoin Launches Story-Driven Game ‘Lost Dogs’ in Collaboration with TON Social Projects and Getgems

Lost Dogs has ushered in a new chapter for Notcoin’s gamified approach to earning tokens. This story-based adventure from Notcoin ally Lost Dogs Co aims to entertain as players help pups find their way home. With interactive puzzles and narrative paths, the experience diverges from Notcoin’s tried clicker model. Getgems’ NFT marketplace also participates, allowing players to express themselves through their in-game personas. Though the delivery differs, the goal remains to engage the Telegram community in blockchain’s potential through creativity and community.

Lost Dogs, the new Notcoin-compatible game that has just been released in an era where entirely produced, free-to-play games of its like are no longer considered viable. In the game, you can start a quest as the dog, forming squads (or communities), and invite new players on board to vote through what action your dogs should take for them to find their next home. The narrative is rich and engaging as it adapts to the choices made by players, which holds specific ethical weight in governing the fates of individuals encountered throughout [the experience] and their dogs’ journey. Lost Dogs NFTs, the characters in the ‘Lost Dogs’ game, were first introduced on Getgems – TON blockchain’s primary trading platform for carrying out NFT trades, founded in March 2023. The game’s motto is ‘There is no right move-everything is decided by the community.’

After Notcoin took off, other clicker-style games on Telegram hatched – like Hamster Kombat, Yescoin and Catizen. Notcoin, however, was the first to depart from the play-to-earn model. Instead, players can earn $NOT and $WOOF tokens as rewards by playing the game. Due to its unsustainability, the founder of the project, Sasha Plotvinov, decided to end the mining phase while it was still at its peak and closed pools for new miners starting April 1st. Over the next four years, Plotvinov has ambitious goals to turn the game into more than just a hub for staking deposits and develop a sustainable performance-based income from each core member, making it possible to have the game running independently of the core team.

Getgems founder Vanya Veras shared the excitement of NFT projects to establish and tell stories. Vanya said, “Our goal is to demonstrate how NFTs can drive mass adoption through innovative storytelling and gameplay.” Notcoin will bring more games in the upcoming months, ushering in a new era of interactive blockchain experiences. By collaborating with Notcoin, Lost Dogs Co and Getgems hope to demonstrate the flexibility and possibilities of NFTs in transforming the gaming experience into something both immersive and interactive.
