KPMG Joins Hands With PMI to Aid Project Management Professionals

Taking pride in being one of the world’s biggest accounting and professional services giant, KPMG has teamed up with Pennsylvania-based Project Management Institute (PMI) to draft out strategic projects aimed to cater to the requirements of project management professional heads.

As per the official statement, the elite core team of KPMG will render the PMI members and certification holders to work in a new operational ecosystem as part of the agreement. The integration between the leading organizations will be focused on the development and innovation of new-age technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, internet of things, cloud computing, etc. The emerging technologies will help the platforms in revolutionizing the business processes in a big way.

In December 2019, KPMG announced that it is planning to invest $5 billion in the next five years for expanding operations aimed towards the digitalization of professional services. KPMG entered into a partnership with tech giant Microsoft to boost its cloud computing and AI operations. Also, in India, KPMG teamed up with ServiceNow to accelerate its services in domains like banking, aviation, transportation, telecom, etc.
