He said he would love to join the Crypto Advisory Council and share his opinion on digital asset policy, “confidentially or publicly”.
Michael Saylor’s Endless Love for Bitcoin
Saylor has consistently championed cryptocurrency as a cornerstone of financial innovation. Following Donald Trump’s remarkable victory, MicroStrategy has intensified its Bitcoin acquisitions, aligning with Trump’s promise to foster a crypto-friendly environment and establish a Bitcoin reserve.
Yesterday, Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming recently expressed her optimism for 2025. She affirmed that next year will be pivotal for Bitcoin and digital assets. Like Michael Saylor, she believes that David Sacks, Trump’s AI and crypto czar, has the potential to drive substantial advancements in the U.S. digital asset landscape.
Lummis specifically highlighted the anticipated development and enactment of comprehensive digital asset legislation, as well as the establishment of a U.S. strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
Saylor agreed with her, expressing confidence that Sack’s leadership could make the U.S. a global leader in digital assets and financial innovation.
Recently, Saylor has affirmed his belief in Bitcoin’s superiority over gold as the cryptocurrency continues to hit new milestones. His comments come on the heels of BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF achieving unprecedented growth, surpassing the two-decade record of its gold counterpart in under a year.
BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) has rapidly amassed $57.8 billion in assets under management (AUM) within its inaugural year. In stark contrast, the iShares Gold Trust (IAU) took 20 years to reach $33 billion in AUM.
