The open-source, blockchain-enabled value-exchange protocol Bytom has announced a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join its AWS Partner Network (APN). This partnership will allow decentralized application (dApp) developers to deploy Bytom’s mainchain-sidechain architecture through AWS Marketplace for application development.
📣Bytom added to @awscloud AWS Marketplace and becomes an APN partner of AWS.
🥳Our #Mainchain (Bytom blockchain) and #Sidechain (Vapor) all added into AWS Marketplace.

Bytom adopts a layered approach to enhance the scalability and security of its decentralized network. This approach mainly consists of three layers:
- Mainchain Layer (Bytom ledger) that supports decentralization and asset creation using Proof of Work consensus mechanism
- Sidechain Layer (Vapor) that supports all business needs while enhancing transactional efficiency and ensuring the scalability
- Services Adoption Layer (Blockcenter)
The mainchain-sidechain model integrates one mainchain with multiple sidechains and is an integral part of a Bytom project.
The APN has a massive network of technology businesses that get support in terms of technology, business, and marketing. Becoming an APN partner means Bytom will be able to leverage AWS for providing blockchain solutions and services to users and developers.
The addition of the mainchain-sidechain model to the AWS marketplace will enable developers and users to use Bytom’s software and services on the cloud. This model also facilitates the deployment of Bytom’s several blockchain solutions such as smart contracts, digital wallets, and blockchain explorers.
Partnership with AWS is just the beginning of Bytom’s journey to provide cloud-based blockchain solutions to its users and developers. Bytom has already revealed its plans to get featured on other leading cloud marketplaces such as Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud.
